Our members are committed to the mission of our church.

Our mission at Renaissance Church is to connect people to Jesus Christ and to each other. If you’re not currently part of a church community, and you're interested in making a deeper commitment to our mission of seeing the gospel of Jesus change hearts and lives in Harlem, we invite you to consider becoming a member of Renaissance Church.

Step 1:  Register to complete PART 1 of our Membership Course. Part 1 is a virtual course that will take you through a series of videos. These videos will explain what it means to belong to a church, and more specifically, what it means to belong to Renaissance Church. The videos will also explain our church's theology, structure, and values.  After watching each video in the Part 1 course, you'll be asked a series of questions related to the video content. It is important that you take time to watch the videos and answer the related questions accurately.

Part 1 will take approximately 90-120 min to complete. (It is self-guided, and you can complete it at your own pace.) Upon watching the videos and answering the questions in the online course, our pastors will receive a record of your completion and your answers. You'll see the course marked as 'Complete!' inside the online portal.

Step 2: Attend PART 2 of our Membership Course -- an in-person session held after second service, where you can ask any outstanding questions, meet the pastoral staff, and sign the Membership Commitment.

Our next PART 2 session will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024. Once you've completed Part 1, you can attend any Part 2 session that suits your schedule/readiness to commit.
